Beta Raffle Official Rules
Last updated July 4, 2026
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning. The Scrywire Beta Raffle (the "Raffle") is a promotion run by Average Build LLC ("Scrywire", "we", "us") to thank beta testers who report bugs and share feedback. By entering you agree to these Official Rules and to the Scrywire Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. Promotion period
The Raffle runs during the Scrywire public beta, beginning July 4, 2026 and ending on the date we publicly announce the end of the beta (the "Promotion Period"). Only entries submitted during the Promotion Period are eligible. We may extend or shorten the Promotion Period at our discretion; the current end date will be reflected on this page.
2. Eligibility
The Raffle is open to individuals who (a) hold a valid Scrywire account, (b) are at least the age of majority in their place of residence (18 in most jurisdictions), and (c) reside in a jurisdiction where this Raffle is not prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, contractors, and immediate family or household members of Average Build LLC are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
3. How to enter
To enter, sign in to Scrywire during the Promotion Period and submit a bug report or feedback item through the in-app feedback dialog (the "Report a bug" / feedback buttons throughout the site and at the table). Each qualifying signed-in submission is automatically added to the entry pool as one (1) entry. There is no limit on the number of entries an eligible participant may earn, subject to Section 4.
Anonymous submissions (made while signed out) do not qualify because they cannot be tied to an account.
4. Qualifying submissions
To count as an entry, a submission must be a good-faith report or suggestion about Scrywire — for example, describing a bug, a confusing behavior, or an idea to improve the platform. Submissions that are duplicates of your own prior reports, empty, spam, gibberish, off-topic, abusive, or intended solely to inflate entry counts may be removed from the pool at our sole discretion. We may cap the number of entries per participant per day if we detect gaming of the system.
5. Drawing and winner selection
At the end of the Promotion Period, Scrywire will select one (1) winner at random from the pool of qualifying entries using a weighted random draw (one ticket per qualifying entry). The odds of winning depend on the total number of qualifying entries received. The drawing is administered by Scrywire and its decisions are final and binding.
6. Prize
The specific prize will be announced on the Scrywire site and via the winner's account email at the time of the drawing. The prize has no cash value except as required by law, is non-transferable, and cannot be substituted except by Scrywire, which may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the announced prize is unavailable. Any taxes, fees, or expenses associated with receipt or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
7. Winner notification
The winner will be notified at the email address on file for their Scrywire account within a reasonable time after the drawing. If the winner does not respond within fourteen (14) days of notification, or if the notification is returned as undeliverable, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected from the remaining entries. Scrywire may require the winner to sign a release confirming eligibility and permitting publication of their first name or username before the prize is awarded.
8. Privacy
Information you provide as part of a feedback submission (your Scrywire user ID, the feedback content, and — if you win — your account email address) is used to run the Raffle and improve the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.
9. Publicity
Except where prohibited, by accepting the prize the winner consents to Scrywire's use of their first name or Scrywire username for reasonable publicity about the Raffle (for example, a "beta thank-you" post) without additional compensation. We will not publish the winner's email address, full legal name, or location without separate consent.
10. Disqualification
Scrywire may disqualify any participant who tampers with the entry process, submits fraudulent or automated entries, violates the Acceptable Use Policy, or otherwise acts in bad faith. In the event of a dispute over the identity of a participant, entries will be attributed to the holder of the Scrywire account associated with the submission.
11. Changes; termination
Scrywire may modify, suspend, or terminate the Raffle at any time — for example, if the beta ends early, a technical error affects the fairness of the drawing, or applicable law requires it. If we end the Raffle early, we will still select a winner from the qualifying entries received up to that point unless doing so is prohibited.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scrywire is not liable for lost, late, misdirected, incomplete, or ineligible entries; for technical failures of any kind; or for any injury or damage to any person's device or data resulting from participation in the Raffle or acceptance or use of the prize. All other disclaimers and limitations in the Scrywire Terms of Service apply.
13. Governing law
These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Average Build LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The Raffle is void in any jurisdiction where prohibited.
14. Sponsor and contact
The Raffle is sponsored by Average Build LLC, operator of Scrywire. Questions about the Raffle or requests for the winner's first name / username after the drawing can be sent to supportteam@scrywire.com.
